Earth Day

We will celebrate Earth Day through movement, mindfullness, story, and crafts! The book The Earth Gives More takes us on a charming journey through the seasons and illustrates how we can be good stewards to the earth. We will then move through a yoga flow, inspired by the beauty of the book and nature around us. Kids will then make native wildflower seed balls to take home! We will finish up with a meditation about loving and caring for mother earth. 

Ages 5-11 years old. Caregivers must stay at the preserve during class.

We will be meeting at the Lake Entrance at Lake Conestee and then walking to the East Bay Deck. If you are unfamiliar with the location - put 840 Mauldin Rd into your GPS, enter AT THE LIGHT (Ridge Rd). You will go straight ahead and be between the baseball stadiums. As the road curves around you will make a left into the parking lot. You will see and entrance to the preserve in the back corner and the community garden to the left.
