Spring Equinox

Spring is all about renewal and growth and that's the theme of this kids yoga class! Kids will learn about springtime and the changing of seasons through story, movement, mindfulness, and art! 

We will read the book Busy Spring: Nature Wakes Up which provides an inviting introduction to the science behind spring. Our yoga flow will invite kids to move and embody the topics we discussed (animals, nature, etc). Each child will then make one handmade notebook to take home. This can be used to record new spring findings throughout the season! 

We will finish up with a guided meditation about new possibilities and growth. 

Ages 5-12 years old. Caregivers must stay at the preserve during class. There is a great place to sit at picnic tables and benches very close to East Bay Deck.
